Renowned Nigerian record label, Mavin Records, founded by top Nigerian record producer and recording artiste is 10 years old.
The outstanding record label which was founded on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 after discovering several amazing talents attained 10 years on Sunday, May 8, 2022.
The record boss owner, Don Jazzy, real name Michael Collins Ajereh took to his official Instagram page to celebrate 10 years of his hustle and how he built now one of the most successful labels in Africa.
Celebrating the 10th anniversary, Don Jazzy shared a short video of all the signees he has worked with and thanked them for being part of the success story. He also acknowledged his fans for their continuous support.
“My baby is 10 years old today. We are filled with joy as we celebrate #MavinAt10. Thank you so much for all the love and support all through the years. Pls we need your continuous support as always as we are just getting started. More greatness ahead. #Mavin”, he wrote.
Meanwhile; Multifaceted Ghanaian rap artiste, Joseph Gamor, better known by his stage name Lyrical Joe was crowned the best rapper of the year at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards 2022.
The event which is organized by Charter House and sponsored by Vodafone saw the “Barcode” crooner bag the coveted award ahead of Strongman, Obibini, Teephlow, Sarkodie and Amerado.
Lyrical Joe’s record, “5th August-5” was the nominated alongside Strongman’s ‘Last Verse’, Obibini’s ‘Wudini’, Teephlow’s ‘Wontease3’, Sarkodie’s ‘Rollies And Cigars’ and Amerado’s ‘The Throne’.
The “Yeete Nsem” crooner took this official social media page to congratulate the Lyrical Joe. In a post via his verified Facebook page, he wrote; “Congratulations Lyrical Joe. Keep Moving”. Screenshot below.
