A Nigerian social media commentator, Daniel Rehga has angrily descended on the fans of Davido for celebrating Wizkid’s loss at the 64th Grammy Awards.
Wizkid last night lost his Grammy Award to the Beninese singer and songwriter, Angelique Kidjo who won the Best Global Music Award one more time at the Grammys this year.
After Wizkid lost to the singer, some unscrupulous fans of his colleague, Davido took to their social media platforms to drag him and celebrate his loss since there has always been a controversial comparison between the two stars.
In reaction to that, Daniel Rehga, a Nigerian social media critic has penned down his frustration on how fans of Davido are dragging Wizkid over his loss at the 64th Grammy Awards.
According to him, Wizkid losing at the Grammys will not stop his music brand from growing, neither will it elevate Davido’s career. He intimated that the academy can subject Davido to the same fate should he bag a nomination in their award scheme.
