The Alaafin of Oyo has honoured one of his daughters, Princess Zainab Adebunmi Adeyemi who graduated with a First Class Honours in Physiology from the Lead University in Ibadan, the Oyo State Capital with a car.
As a proud parent, the Monarch gave her with a car as a token of his respect for her academic abilities.
Princess Zainab Adebunmi, who is attractive, thin, and energetic, could not hold back tears of pleasure as she bowed before her Royal Father in gratitude for the unexpected present and as a well-behaved kid.
The background and habits of Princess Zainab Adebunmi, daughter of His Imperial Majesty, the Alaafin of Oyo, highlighted her propensity for intellectual academic achievement.
It was discovered that the princess not only has the capacity to read and grasp nuances in Yoruba, but also reads broadly in a variety of subjects or deeply in one.
In her words: ”All these propelled my creativity and inventiveness, which enabled me to view situations from varying perspectives, develop and explore alternative approaches, and generate novel products.
“What is more, they infused seemingly limitless energy in me, thus making me be frequently alert and eager, as well as delving into interests beyond the usual limitations of children of my age”.
Princess Zainab Adebunmi’s graduation ceremony was conducted inside the Palace and was attended by the Queen’s (Ayabas), princes, princesses, assistants to the Alaafin, and other members of staff.
The Alaafin and his Royal Family were present at the University’s auditorium for the convocation ceremony.
Princess Zainab then delivered her first-class Bachelor’s of Science (BSC) degree to her Royal Father, the Iku Baba Yeye, where she was praised and given royal blessings.
