Mohammed Abubakar, the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, claims that the federal government is doing everything possible to increase stimulus, which will lower food prices.

On Monday, November 15, the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Mohammed Abubakar, said this in Abuja during a safety training tour of the Nigerian Agricultural Research Council.

President Muhammadu Buhari, he said, is enthusiastic about agriculture and is dedicated to ensuring that people have “food to eat every single day without struggle on their tables.”

“We’re doing everything possible to bring up some kind of stimulus that’ll cause reduction in food prices.

Naturally, nobody will just sit and watch. We’re doing what we can to see that the agricultural sector is improved and the food that we expect for the teeming population of Nigeria is being produced, the same thing with the livestock.” ?he said?

In other news, an autopsy has been ordered to be conducted on the lady who was allegedly electrocuted at Obi Cubana’s club.

It could be recalled that Obi Cubana has temporarily shut down his Abuja club, Hustle and Bustle and this came after a lady got electrocuted to death while in the club.

This claim was buttressed by a CCTV footage that reportedly showed that she was electrocuted by one of the metals lying on the floor of the club.

This development has gotten the attention of the police in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and in a recent submission, the spokesperson of the FCT police command, DSP Josephine Adeh stated that an investigation is ongoing adding that the police would conduct an autopsy on the lady.

In her submission, she said;

“The case was reported to the police. This is a case of sudden and unnatural death, which investigation is going on. We are going to carry out an autopsy to determine the cause of death. I cannot tell you the cause of the death now until the investigation and autopsy are completed.”
