INEC Declares Anambra Guber Poll Inconclusive, Election To Hold On Tuesday

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has stated that the Anambra governorship election winner has not been decided yet.

This is due to the commission’s failure to deploy personnel and supplies to the Ihiala Local Government Area due to security concerns.

Prof. Florence Obi, the election’s returning officer, declared that the poll will now take place on Tuesday, November 9, to coincide with the results of the 20 local government areas elections, which were already revealed.

Obi said: “we have collated results for 20 local government areas, and Ihiala is still outstanding as the commission was unable to deploy to the area.

“Based on constitutional provision, supplementary election will be held in Ihiala. So, we have to conclude the election in Ihiala to be able to conclude the process.

“I plead with you to support INEC, so we can bring this election to a conclusion, to the glory of God. The election for Ihiala will hold on November 9.”

Meanwhile, The General Overseer of Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, E.A. Adeboye has disclosed a chat he had with a person concerning President Muhammadu Buhari’s successor in the upcoming 2023 general elections.

Some hungry Nigerians, according to Adeboye, are already plotting how to murder one another in order to win political elections in 2023.

While some politicians are preoccupied with the next election in 2023, Adeboye claims that they have forgotten to ponder whether the country’s corporate existence will last until the election.
